A VOICE

I am a voice calling out in the wilderness

I have made a marvelous discovery

I have realized my purpose, my goal, my aim

I am born to be a voice

To be a voice for the child

To say what the child cannot or does not know how to express

To shout out the childs’ hurts

To voice the child’s innocence

To voice the child’s cries

To voice the child’s hunger, whether it be educational, spiritual or emotional

Who wants to be a voice in our community, our school, our suburb, our province and our country

Is there anyone who wants to be a voice?
